The Farmhouse
The Brief
Our interior designer client wanted to create a soft, welcoming family kitchen within their 17century farmhouse. A loose country aesthetic was desired with no wall cupboards and elements of the kitchen to feel like pieces of furniture. Our clients where keen for the laundry room to flow with the kitchen also
Elements
Tall cabinetry was kept on the long wall where there are no windows which allowed the dresser section to be framed by the fridge and pantry in equal proportions on each side. The cooker was positioned on the wall between the two windows. This allows for views to the garden whilst at the sink on the left and also whilst chopping and prepping on the right. The return allows for further prep space and engagement from the living and dining area. The laundry room works seamlessly with the kitchen and supports the space.
From start to finish Jasper and Max provided us with superb and friendly customer service, wonderful attention to detail and most of all built us a kitchen we thought we could only dream of.
Renovating our Grade II Listed Farmhouse has been a challenging experience however our decision to ask Middleton Bespoke to carry out the refurbishment of the kitchen and breakfast room was probably one of our best decisions. From start to finish Jasper and Max provided us with superb and friendly customer service, wonderful attention to detail and most of all built us a kitchen we thought we could only dream of. We would have no hesitation in recommending them most highly, a second to none all round service.
Thank you so very much.
