The Grange
The Brief
This traditional Sussex Grange modernising is recent times and client’s wanted to have a sympathetic overhaul of the space and wanted cabinetry of true farmhouse style.
Elements
Framed by the beautiful windows with views of the farm beyond the breakfront sink sideboard houses an undercounter fridge, large butler sink with drawers either side and dishwasher and store cupboard. The pantry Armoire provides dry storage and is within easy reach of the ‘buffet style’ sideboard with long drawers in the centre over a pair of cupboards and single cabinets either side and simple shaker shelf above.
The Oak top matches the Oak shelving. The butchers block has a 90mm Oak top and is humble in style to sit comfortably within this country kitchen. Rustic elements include the original brick floor and the traditional arrangement is complemented by the comforting Aga.
